NARBHA obtained a total of $184,363 in rebates for NARBHA clinical sites from the U.S. government Universal Service Fund's Rural Health Care division. These rebates are for the clinics' telemedicine phone lines for fiscal year July 1, 2005 - June 30, 2006. Universal Service rebates ensure that rural, nonprofit health care clinics can obtain telecommunications services for the same prices that urban clinics would pay. (More on Universal Service)
