Client satisfaction survey results

NARBHA's Medical Director of Telemedicine, Dr. Sara Gibson, presented the results of a recent client satisfaction survey at the 2008 annual meeting of the American Telemedicine Association in April.

We surveyed telepsychiatry clients at Little Colorado Behavioral Health Center, the NARBHA provider clinic in Apache County, which had been offering telepsychiatric services for 10 years. The survey was conducted December 2006 through March 2007 and was estimated to cover 90% of the telepsychiatry clients there.

The survey was designed with the assistance of Elizabeth Krupinski, Ph.D., of the University of Arizona's Telemedicine Program.

The survey was given to 230 clients; 76 were returned (a 33% response rate). Below are some overall results.
